MEGASYSTEMS grants the customer the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the computer programs and files recorded on this storage medium, as well as the documentation belonging to it, for his/her own, internal purposes.
Duration and limitations of use
The usufruct duration is unlimited. The transfer of this software from one computer to another via network or cable, its alteration, translation, redevelopment, decompilation or disassembly, the compilation of documentation connected with this software or the reproduction of the enclosed documentation are all prohibited without express written permission from MEGASYSTEMS. It is also strictly prohibited to pass on this software or any documentation connected with it to a third party, or to give a third party access to it in any way.
Copyright
The software recorded on this storage medium, as well as the documentation enclosed with it, are protected by copyright. The customer has purchased only the storage medium on which the software is recorded. With regard to the software, the customer has purchased only the abovementioned, limited usufruct.
Guarantee and liability
MEGASYSTEMS emphasizes the fact that software can never be completely free of defects. MEGASYSTEMS cannot guarantee that the software meets the customer's requirements, nor that it is compatible with the customer's choice of other programs.
General regulations
This agreement is exclusively subject to German law. The court of jurisdiction for any conflicts arising from or in connection with this licensing agreement is the court of jurisdiction for MEGASYSTEMS GmbH. Should any of the regulations included within this agreement be proven null and void, or become so, then this will not affect the effectiveness of the remaining regulations. The customer's rights within this agreement are non-transferable.
Notice
The names denoting the hard and software referred to are all protected by the firms in question through trademark or patent.
